I was born at St.Julians in Malta, and have been in Australia for the last 50 years, I still yearn for that beutiful country which I miss so much, I have been over there three times as a matter of fact I was last there for four months from August till December 2007, after having been in the UK lecturing in Psychophysiology. Every time I visit Malta I feel very home sick of the country and I love to retire over there, but unfortunately, I have a lot of commitments here in Australia. The only relations I have in Malta are the Sullivans so every time I pay a visit to the island I stay in a hotel. I always dream of our island and I hope to visit the island again in the very near future. I would like very much if someone can contact me and tell me of a geneolgist in Malta so that I can trace my ancestors over there. Victor

Love aboutMalta and I miss my relatives on the island of Malta. My dream came true when I visited once, 3 years ago, and I have dreamt about it every day since. Can't wait until the day when I can go back, visit with them and agian see my father's homeland, and be where I feel so very much at home and loved in a true sense.

I have a query about Maltese customs. In Malta is it customary when shopping to use your own bags and put items in your own bag before you pay? And also is it acceptable when shopping and before paying to walk outside with your goods perhaps to show someone who is waiting outside what you are intending to buy? Thank you
