June 2010
Newsletter Number 129
June marks a very important anniversary for us at aboutmalta.com because on the 1st of June 1999 the MaltaMedia Online News service started appearing daily on the Internet. Over the past eleven years, the MaltaMedia Online News service has remained the only truly independent web-based news provider from Malta.
Following yet another apparently pointless debate around the Eurovision Song Contest, the public imagination of the Maltese Islands is seeking the next event to wrap its head around. Whatever it is, you can rest assured that the MaltaMedia Online Network will be on it on one way or another. It’s also likely to you’ll find interesting comments about some of them on the Maltese Blogosphere.
