| NEWSLETTER: July 2005 |
| Volume 3 - Number 28 |
The MaltaMedia Online Network is expanding again this summer. It is with great pleasure that I announce a new cartoon (Whatever by magnumT) and the addition of two new blogs to our network.Pierre J. Mejlak, aboutmalta.com's managing editor, is now blogging as part of the MaltaMedia Online Network. Pierre will also be taking over the editing of this newsletter from next month. He is currently engaged with a new website, in collaboration with Joe Zammit, called Imagine Gozo, which is currently under heavy construction. I'm sure he'll tell you more about that himself sometime soon.
Wired Temples, a most interesting blog about Malta on the web has now been integrated into the MaltaMedia Online Network. Robert Micallef, creator/editor, is also aboutmalta'com contributing editor for our section on Maltese blogs. Robert is relatively new to the MaltaMedia Online Network, but he is quickly becoming an important part of our team.
Although I'm passing on the newsletter to Pierre for the rest of the summer (and possibly longer) I'll still be heavily involved with the MaltaMedia Online Network, of course. For more about my whereabouts and plans to inherit the earth just take a look at Toni Sant's Blog.
Enjoy the summer!

a. L-Imnarja - The Feast of St. Peter and St. Paul in Malta & GozoCelebrating the feast of St. Peter and St. Paul is much more than a religious event in Malta. Among other things, it is a traditional celebration which marks the passing of spring. aboutmalta.com contributing editors Daniel Bartolo and Pierre J. Mejlak write about various aspects of l-Imnarja in Malta and Gozo.
The MaltaMedia Online Network's first cartoon series, Gattaldo's Brave Cissies, first appeared online in January 2003. magnumT's Whatever follows up on the success of that series. It promises to be a topsy-turvy look at the quintessential elements that make Maltese society what it is today.
