Central Malta

10 mile course along Sliema coast. Loop starts from Msida seafront, all along the coast passing through Ta' Xbiex, Gzira, Tigne', Sliema till you reach Spinola and back again to Msida seafront. The whole 10 mile course is along the sea front and on a wide pavement. It is therefore safe and picturesque and very enjoyable.
South of Malta
--------------
Birzebbuga, Marsaxlokk, Zejtun, Marsascala and back. (approx. 10 miles). The route is mostly along the seaside and countryside.
North
-----
Ghajn Tuffieha, Manikata, Mellieha bypass, Zebbiegh, San Martin, Bidnija and back to Ghajn Tuffieha. Approximately 10 miles. It comprises mainly of countryside route.
West
----
Mdina, Rabat, Dingli, Buskett Forest and back to Mdina (Approx. 14 miles) All route is along the countryside.
Runners training long distance usually start off from Mdina because various options of routes are available. For example, another long route along the countryside is possible if you head towards Siggiewi.
