Commending

Ms. Linda C. Eneix

On The Occasion Of
The Malta Exposition
Sarasota, Florida
April 3,4,5, 1998



Whereas, Ms.Linda C. Eneix a friend and admirer of Malta has devoted a substantial amount of her time in the pursuit of providing quality educational travel programs to the Maltese islands.

Whereas, her organization the OTS Foundation is dedicated to promulgating the island nation as a world-site for the study of archaeological and anthropological wonders predating history.

Whereas, her literary work "People of the Temples" has attracted the attention of readers to the life and times of ancient civilizations in the Maltese archipelago long before the advent of Stonehenge and the great pyramids.

Whereas, she is committed to the preservation of the 6,000 year old Mnajdra Temple site including the installation of domes to protect it from the ravages of time and weather.

Whereas, she continues to work hard and diligently with the authorities, academia, and the Elderhostel in fostering the historic importance of the islands of Malta and the preservation of the megalithic treasures.

Whereas, she planned, organized and produced The Malta Exposition, featuring MUZIKA MALTA an overview of Malta’s contribution to world civilization and to support conservation of its cultural heritage.

Whereas, as ambassador of good will, Linda has devoted much of her time, energy and talent in showcasing Malta as the archaeological and anthropological wonder of the world, to students of ancient history and civilizations.

Whereas, her interest, love and labor towards the people and the Islands of Malta has served as a beacon of light on the rocky shores of our Mediterranean isles to those seeking meaning in the evolution of the human spirit and experience.

Whereas, as a distinguished friend of Malta, forever bonded to the land by the dictates of her heart and the power of her pen, she has spoken well and eloquently of Malta’s history, treasures and cultural attractions.

Whereas, she continues to draw educated, retired persons to Malta and Gozo, contributing to the success of NTOM’s goals for an increase in upscale tourism from the USA and Canada.

Now therefore, be it resolved that on behalf of the 'Malta Virtwali' World Wide Community, we the undersigned, hereby commend Linda C. Eneix and extend best wishes for her success in advancing the Maltese Islands as historic and ancient destinations to those in search of discovery, wonder and awe of lost civilizations.
