I found your incredible islands a success story in the living together of a large number of people in a small area. I and my wife Peggy were both impressed by the hospitality and caring nature of the Maltese people. They were concerned about our welfare and comfort the whole time we were there. (two weeks). I also enjoyed their wry sense of humour. I am at present writing a history of your islands, which I hope to complete sometime this year (lots of research yet to do.).
Other nations can learn from you how to be religiously devout, yet not fanatic, crowded yet stable and happy, proud of their traditions and nation yet open to learning about others. I am looking forward to a return visit.
