HOMECOMING !

I was thrilled to discover the Malta Home Page and to read the comments of so many people. I lived in Malta for nearly four years while my father was with Nato. We rented a beautiful Villa on the edge of the village of Rabat near Mdina. The villa had catacombs underneath which connected to the catacombs of St. Paul. Malta somehow became my home. I have been back only once, but hope I will be able to return again. I came to love Malta so much, and even now think of Malta as the one place in the world where I felt deeply connected to the land and people. It is an attatchment I have never fully understood, an unusual sense of place. It has been deeply touching to read of so many people who share my love for this country.
