    The insurance culture has grown steadily in the last few years, providing the Maltese client with a wider choice and a better service. We cannot ignore the fact that competition is harsh and that clients are looking into the price and quality of service as determining factors in their decision. To compete on a level playing field insurance companies have to invest into marketing and advertising. However, to stand out it has to do that little bit more. Here the Internet is the answer to such a need. Internet is the emerging mass medium, with ever increasing audiences, especially among the young and middle-aged groups and those with good disposable income. It is the medium which ensures fast and accurate information. It can create a relationship notwithstanding the physical distance.
